Mary’s Magical Chocolate Pudding
Mary’s Magical Chocolate Pudding
Original Recipe
Ingredients:
- 500 ml (2 cups) whole milk
- 100 g (½ cup) sugar
- 30 g (¼ cup) cocoa powder
- 30 g (¼ cup) cornstarch
- 50 g (¼ cup) dark chocolate, chopped
- 2-3 g of the desired special component (amount can be adjusted based on desired potency)
- A pinch of salt
- Whipped cream and grated chocolate for garnish (optional)
Directions:
-
Prepare Your Base:
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt. Slowly add the milk, whisking until smooth. -
Cook to Perfection:
Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture thickens and begins to bubble—about 5-7 minutes. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for another 2 minutes, ensuring no lumps form. -
Add the Magic:
Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the chopped dark chocolate and special component. Continue stirring until both are fully melted and incorporated. -
Chill and Set:
Pour the pudding into individual serving dishes or one large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface to prevent a skin from forming. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. -
Serve with Flair:
Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of grated chocolate for an elegant finish.
