Mary’s Magical Chocolate Pudding

Mary’s Magical Chocolate Pudding

Original Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 500 ml (2 cups) whole milk
  • 100 g (½ cup) sugar
  • 30 g (¼ cup) cocoa powder
  • 30 g (¼ cup) cornstarch
  • 50 g (¼ cup) dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2-3 g of the desired special component (amount can be adjusted based on desired potency)
  • A pinch of salt
  • Whipped cream and grated chocolate for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. Prepare Your Base:
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt. Slowly add the milk, whisking until smooth.

  2. Cook to Perfection:
Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture thickens and begins to bubble—about 5-7 minutes. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for another 2 minutes, ensuring no lumps form.

  3. Add the Magic:
Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the chopped dark chocolate and special component. Continue stirring until both are fully melted and incorporated.

  4. Chill and Set:
Pour the pudding into individual serving dishes or one large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface to prevent a skin from forming. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

  5. Serve with Flair:
Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of grated chocolate for an elegant finish.
